This message is going out to all Zipcon Subscribers. We had a problem yesterday where the POP mail server was overloaded somehow and stopped answering requests. Its a security function built into the server to stop answering requests if more than 2 requests come in every second for a full minute or more. I'm unsure if the system was attacked, but its a definite possibility. I have taken measures to make it more difficult for this to happen in the future. If you noticed that you could not get your email yesterday around 5:30 PM, this would be the reason. I'd like to mention again that I have received three reports that the 56K modems have become more difficult to connect to in the last 10 days or so.
