This message is going out to all Zipcon Subscribers.

  We had a problem yesterday where the POP mail server was overloaded
somehow and stopped answering requests.  Its a security function built
into the server to stop answering requests if more than 2 requests come
in every second for a full minute or more.  I'm unsure if the system
was attacked, but its a definite possibility.

  I have taken measures to make it more difficult for this to happen
in the future.  If you noticed that you could not get your email
yesterday around 5:30 PM, this would be the reason.

  I'd like to mention again that I have received three reports that
the 56K modems have become more difficult to connect to in the last
10 days or so.  If you have noticed that you used to be able to connect
well, but are now having trouble, please let me know right away.
