Council meeting, 7pm on Tuesday, January 9 in the fellowship hall.
-
EHCC Annual Meeting, Sunday, January 21. The Annual Meeting of the congregation will be held after worship on Jan. 21. We’ll elect a new Church Council, affirm a budget for 2007, and hear reports. All are welcome to speak and listen; members will have the privilege of voting. Plan to stay and participate—it’s the UCC way!
-
Church Council Mini-Meeting, January 21. After the Annual Meeting has concluded, members of the freshly elected Council are asked to adjourn to the Fellowship Hall for lunch and some planning and training time. We will talk together about how to invite other volunteers to share in the work of the church through the formation of Ministry Teams. We’ll do some brainstorming about what we hope to accomplish in 2007. If you are serving on the Council this year, please make your attendance at this event a high priority. It will help us get off on the right foot.
-
Hungry Readers book discussion group, Monday, January 22, 7pm in the Singer room. The Hungry Readers will be discussing Mr. God, This Is Anna in January. This slim volume by an author known only as “Fynn” tells the true story of a child who has theological and mathematical insights far beyond her years. Come and find out what question goes with the answer “In my middle!”
