For more than a decade Rachael Jackson has been developing a style of black and white photography which brings out the beauty of texture and forms in nature. Often these photographs focus on bringing out the very small and quite fantastic details of plants, minerals and water. Using only existing light and the diverse environments of the Northwest, she has revealed a striking world of nature's embodiments.
