This here’s an example I wrote showing how things in the web page can be moved (and change color) dynamically using CSS and JavaScript. This is a form of what is known as Dynamic HTML (DHTML). Making it work in a bunch of older browsers was awful. Big mistakes were made in the development of CSS and JavaScript. Since 2010 or so this has much improved.
